The corporate team at Rum Runners USA has over 15 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Our franchise system is set up to assist you during each step of the process of getting your franchise open, operating, and ready for business!

Below please find some of the ways that we will assist and work with you on an ongoing basis.


Site Selection & "Build Out"

Rum Runners USA will be involved in all aspects of the site selection for the franchisee’s locations including:

  • A detailed and comprehensive site approval process and assistance in negotiating lease agreements
  • We will provide you a schematic site plan or floor plan for your restaurant to be customized for your location by your architect and we will advise you on build out and outfitting your store.
  • We will work with your General Contractor and offer ongoing suggestions and review assistance
  • Provide equipment specifications and approved vendor lists

Staff Training & Operations

Few things are more important in any business then positive training of staff that leads to productive and profitable results. Simply put – the better the training, the better the service. The better the service, the greater the returns on every level of your business.

  • You will receive a comprehensive Operations Manual which will include detailed training schedules, training guides for all positions, management training, and other corporate information. You will be required to go through extensive onsite training on the different areas of operation within the store.
  • Representatives from Rum Runners Franchise Development team will be be onsite during your grand opening to work directly with the staff, management, and owners.
  • You will regularly receive updates to the manual which will include additional information beneficial to the operations of your store.
  • A member of the Rum Runners USA Franchise Development team will be assigned to your store and you will receive regular calls, emails and information. Our goal is to continually be working with you, offering encouragement, and sharing system wide information to help maximize your ongoing efforts.
  • Your store will receive at least one onsite visit per quarter from a member of the Franchise Development team. During this visit all aspects of your franchise will be evaluated to give you an accurate assessment of your business operations.

Marketing & Promotions

Just opening the doors is not enough. It takes hard work and ongoing efforts to keep the crowds coming back time and time again. We have developed a comprehensive local Marketing and Promotions Manual outlining many successful community and regional programs. These programs will be immediately instituted at your store and in your market to drive business into your location.
Additional assistance will include, but not be limited to:

  • Inclusion on our highly successful website: www.rumrunnersusa.com. Each franchise receives its own individual location page on our national site. Your location’s page includes multiple additional pages of info that can be customized specifically for your store (hours, reservations, contact info, employment, and much more!). You will have access to adjust and update the info whenever you need to.
  • Ongoing consultation on local marketing and promotion programs and/or events.
  • Radio and print ads: Assistance with media placement and advertising agreements. Design of print ads through Rum Runners USA corporate office. In addition we will work directly with radio or television ad representatives to make sure the “copy” used is presented in the most advantageous manner for your location.
  • Monthly "Promotional Ideas" newsletters sent out on an ongoing basis with new ideas, relevant industry trends, and exciting events from other Rum Runners stores.

We will work directly and closely with all related industry contacts to ensure our franchisees the highest quality products and merchandise at best available prices. This will cover all aspects of our business from food & bar purchases to retail and merchandise items, fixtures and equipment.
